Year 3011, the first year of the war.

Humans call the enemy the Hollow, for what they appear to lack.

As is their practice, they give no warning before an attack.

In eleven years of war, humanity did not win a single engagement against them.

The Ostrakon is the record of that war, reconstructed from fleet logs, intercepted transmissions and crew rosters recovered afterward. It is released one file at a time.
